Wabi-Sabi: The Japanese Philosophy For a Perfectly Imperfect Life.
The philosophy of accepting your imperfections and making the most of life. Accepting that life and things are impermanent allows us to appreciate the beauty and melancholy of it. When I heard the phrase for the first time it stuck with me and I’ve tried to apply this ideology to my life ever since.
My life so far has been something that I could never have planned or forseen. Over time I’ve learnt to appreciate the good times as well as the not so good times. Using both of these situations to learn, grow and become a better person - the reason for choosing Wabi-Sabi as the name for this blog. The photos you see are my way of remembering these moments and sharing them with the world - providing an insight into the places I’ve visited with some facts and tips along the way.
I hope I can teach you a thing or two - if not then maybe just provide some amusement.
