Fleeting
Feb 2022 - Quite possibly one of my best vacations ever.
Life is fleeting. Every moment we experience is finite. I don’t mean to say this in a negative sort of way - if anything it's the exact opposite. It’s the fact that it doesn’t last forever that makes it meaningful. Every now and again I experience moments that send me down a very deep path, they will have me up all night contemplating absolutely everything. Now whether it's a positive or negative experience I always try to end on a note of positivity - yes there will be moments where you feel upset, where you feel angry, where you feel like your whole world is ending. And it’s okay to feel that way, but I think the problem is when you stay in that state - it’s important to look towards the future instead (I know it's easier said than done but still).
This whole topic kinda ties in with my last two posts because I’m still bloody exhausted - the last few weeks have definitely taken a toll on me. Combining that with my own stupidity and misfortune, it’s been one hell of a time. I have slowly started getting back in the gym which is good - the more time I go without training the more of a mental slump I go into so I’m pretty damn happy to get back to it.
In other news, I recently decided to post some of my favourite photos on my Instagram story. While I was choosing which photos to post I came to the realisation that I’ve been to some dope places and done some insane things. I’m extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to do so and I can’t encourage you enough to go out there do the same. It’s one of the things that I’m most proud of.
In other other news, I have caught up to One Piece. This took some serious dedication tbh, but here we are 1035 episodes later. Idk how people call it mid this sh*t is top tier. There’s actually hella anime seasons running atm, I’m watching My Hero Academia, Bleach, Chainsaw Man and Spy x Family. I did just finish House of the Dragon which has been sick, however I am now in need of another show to watch so if you have any recommendations let me know.
In other other other news, I bought a film camera. I’ve always wanted one but was never bothered to buy one, then outta nowhere I got a suggestion on YouTube for one and I bought it immediately. I still need to buy film for it but I’m excited to put it to use - nice to have a camera that’s light af and easy to carry around compared to my DSLR. The only issue I have now is that I have more and more tech to carry which in turn takes up more and more space in my backpack. Ah well, a necessary sacrifice.
Anyways, I’m out.
Take care.
