Teide National Park

June 2017 - My camera broke after this.

I feel that when most people visit Tenerife they overlook the national park and stick to the beaches, which I think is a bit of a shame. We were visiting Mount Teide on our final day; the national park and the volcano are amazing to visit and provide some badass scenery. I know it’s a hot place but bring a jacket or something, we were up there in t-shirts and shorts and were pretty damn cold.

I had my newly bought Canon G7X with me on this trip and set it down on a rock to take a timed photo of me and my mates since we didn’t have a group picture. Once the camera clicked I went to retrieve it - this was when a huge gust of wind blew my camera away just like that ‘it was at this moment he knew he f'd up’ meme. The picture wasn’t even in focus…

RIP Canon G7X you were my first camera, I’ll never forget you.
