Be Free
April 2019 - Sometimes all you need is some time to get away from everything.
Wassup?
I’ve been having some HELLA vivid dreams lately. In one of them I’m hiking with a friend and I somehow fall off the cliff edge, obviously I woke up having a panic attack. In another one I was vibing with some of my mates when all of a sudden there's a zombie apocalypse and everything goes to sh*t - naturally, me and my mates survive thanks to the many hours we spent in the Kino (if you know you know). To celebrate we decided to hit up the Ferrari showroom in Mayfair and take all of their cars out for a spin - fun times.
Anywaaaaay… I chose this picture because it represents what I wanted to talk about. Being free. Letting go. Being at peace. Being content. I swear sometimes I be thinking way too much. However, with what happened last week it was inevitable (again, if you know if you know). There I was in a small Dutch town, the wind was howling, the temperature was at that perfect level - you could wear a hoodie and not feel hot or wear a t-shirt and not feel cold. The best weather for a late night stroll.
I spent a good couple of hours wandering aimlessly as I thought about everything that I’m grateful for - it was the definition of tranquillity. You may think I write about this sort of stuff too often, but I think it’s important to always be mindful of what you have. It’s hella easy to complain and wish for certain things, I find myself doing it every now and again - which is why it’s also important to take a step back and count your blessings.
Note: I also spent some time pointing out the stars that I recognised to the cows in the field nearby - it was a funky night.
