Beautiful Kyoto
October 2016 - One of the most serene places I’ve ever been to.
Kyoto was the definition of tranquil. Whether I was walking around the city streets or the various temples and shrines - it was so relaxing. It is even more special during Sakura season (when the cherry blossoms are blooming), the various sites around the city are beautiful but if you get to see them during this special time it’ll make a world of difference. If you have the opportunity to do so then I would highly recommend it!
We only spent a couple days here, but I definitely want to go back and stay in a Ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) to experience more of the Japanese culture rather than staying in an AirBnB.
One day.
Etizaz’s fact of the day: Kyoto was the capital of Japan for much of the country's history (794 to 1868).
