Purple Sky in Hong Kong

September 2016 - Who doesn’t love purple skies?

It was pretty scary venturing to a part of the world that I had never been to before, especially on my own. I went for a banking conference organised by LSE. Luckily, I had a friend (who I met in Chicago whilst studying) living there who was awesome enough to let me stay with him - thanks Hugo!

Hong Kong is an awesome place - with the mix of skyscrapers amongst the jungles there is so much to explore and experience. I managed to witness this amazing sunset as I walked near the exhibition centre one evening. One of my tips for travelling would be to try and walk around as much as you can when you visit a new place (within reason) - you’ll discover so much more and might stumble across some hidden gems.

Definitely take a trip.
