Feelin' Blue in Lake District

December 2018 – Out of all the photos I’ve ever taken, this is probably my favourite. Back then there was literally nothing I could’ve complained about. Nearly a year on and I never thought things would be so different - you can plan all you want but it never works out that way huh?

As much as I love exploring a new city – I have an equal if not greater love for exploring nature. Most people tend to visit Lake District at any time other than winter – we weren’t most people. The benefit of going at such an unusual time was that most of the places we visited were empty, which I found made the trip even more enjoyable.

This was taken on the Walla Crag trail, if we had more time and the weather was better, we probably would’ve climbed to the peak. Nevertheless, it was a beautiful day - then again if you have the right company any location can be a fun day out.
